New Vitamin Rumours?

Just a speedy post looking forward to the new mags this month – I wait until B’s Log is out before ordering Girl’s Style, but I went to the site to get a hint of news and lookie what I saw:
Vitamin Y!! Kyaa! If you don’t know, I’m a huge fan of VitaminX, and would love another title – now I wonder whether it would feature a continuation of the same storyline and characters, or a new teacher. My first reaction is to hope for a totally new title – VitX Evolution had the teacher endings that was all I wanted in addition to the original, so I really don’t need any additional story from the existing cast. But I’m sure if it was done well, I’d still love it – really any more Vitamins will be good for me

The first thing I went crazy over when I saw the cover was, “REAL RODE”! Been looking forward to more on that. : D
But… I hate to crush your dreams Lija, but Vitamin Y – and another title coming out called Vitamin Z – are apparently just mini game sequels. You can see more on Vitamin Y here, but it kind of seems “blah” with just the cutesy graphics and all. I’d have preferred a full sequel rather than just add ons. But since you like the characters maybe you’d enjoy it? Vitamin Z does look a bit better! According to this page it’s a re-release(? – I think, I’m half-asleep so I was too lazy to read everything carefully) of X, but it does have a fairly big selection of new characters. Since I haven’t got the original yet maybe I’ll just wait until next year so I can grab the updated game with all the new bishies. Still, I hate when they do that. It seems like a slap in the face to people who supported the game from the start, just getting more of their money for something they’ve (mostly) already played.
Or, I may have misunderstood what the games are about entirely. XD;

Usagijen covered about them both, seems Y have same characters while Z new ones (? maybe I can’t tell from the small pics…)
yeah, Z will have a new cast and Y the old and as far as I know they are going to be just mini-game collections. :/

I did a search on Vitamin Y after I saw that. xD
And I found Vitamin Z along the way.
Oh, and if I may ask.. where do you usually order the magazines from? :3 I’m trying to find an alternative rather than letting Kinokuniya rape my wallet. ;_;
I order from Amazon.co.jp – they’re very fast but verrry expensive
Ever tried subscribing to the game magazines with CDJapan (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/magazine/list_mag.html?id=6#15)? They’re fast and expensive as well, but if their offer will make you save up at least a little, compared to Amazon JP, then why not check it out
I haven’t, I’ve only looked at CD Japan for, well, CDs! I didn’t even know they had subscriptions. Thanks for the idea, I will definitely check it out!
