Thanks to sonnakai, my burning curiosity about the new Vitamin game is satisfied – there will be TWO games; one is a compilation of mini-games and not a new full story, but it sounds like Vitamin Z will have new characters and a story! Yayyyy!! Ahem. I’m very tired and giddy, so please excuse me if I start rambling.
Now, the lowdown!

Vitamin Y:
Apparently the games become available as you move through the main game. It’s school festival time, and though the class has decided on a café, Tsukasa announces that he’s getting his company to take over the whole festival and do everything.
Somehow you manage to convince him not to, but by the school festival, the B6 have still used Tsukasa’s resources to set up a bunch of attractions on school grounds.

Screencap shamelessly lifted from Gamewatch.

And I can’t believe, this was announced two weeks ago!! Gyaah, I could have been squeeing for two weeks already! I’ll just quote a Japanese blogger and say, “ギャー!買う、買います、全部下さい!!”
OH, and since I’ve been enjoying the gymnastics at the Olympics, some real-life pics (never thought you’d see any on here eh??) of some awesome athletes that I’m cheering for!

Uchimura Kohei – one of the young guys (19) on the Japanese team – the commentators are driving me CRAZY pronouncing his last name as Oocheemeree – c’mon guys, Japanese names are not hard!! That’s an A not a Y!
And some Canadian guys who are representing us in the all-around competition:

Nathan Gafuik

and Adam Wong.
OK, bedtime!

I’m so glad I was off on Vitamin Z! I should’ve checked more closely to see if the story was different, but that’s great about it being an honest to goodness sequel! Haha, I’m happy to help though. Glad it didn’t turn out to be a let down after all. And score! More hyper (genki?) energy to flow around… through the… universe. Yeah, I’ve lost it too. XD
The names for the new guys are too funny! Ahou as in 阿呆 as in “fool”? Ha! Plus the “P2″. How elite sounding. Now you’ve got me excited! Yet this means I need to get the original. It used to seem like there was such a deficit of otome games, and now – well, I can’t complain!
You noticed about the lame Olympics announcers too!? The other day I was watching the swimmers and one of the dudes kept going “kosukee” (Kosuke Kitajima). I mean, I can understand making a mistake if you were just some random person on the street, but if you’re an announcer for the most widely watched sports event ever? Come on. It’d take about five minutes to run through everyone’s names beforehand to make yourself not look like a complete moron.
And ooh, so you’re a Canadian gal! Well, having a world record setter on our side this year, I can say Mr. Phelps is doing an outstanding job representing my country… XD Bahaha! Couldn’t resist. Ah, but for gymnastics? What a tough year for the U.S. girls. Your guys were really good though! Didn’t Adam get injured last year too? It always amazes me how quickly athletes can recover, or at least push past the pain, even if they are in peak condition. China is kicking butt and taking names though. All those gold medals… but I’m glad, all of the competitors are quite inspiring!
Yes, Phelps is the wunderkind of this Olympics – he really is amazing. We’re getting all his races up here too.
And sorry to all that are leaving comments that I need to approve (first-timers) – I can’t log in at work so it has to wait until nighttime. But at least this way we don’t get spam comments, unless you guys are interested in some cheap Viagra or mortgage financing

Heya, welcome!
Vitamin Z will be relased (at least first) for the PS2. But I bet it will also be released for the DS or PSP after…just who knows how long!
