Random Tip – Love Revo Ichinose Ren

June 9th, 2009

Someone asked me a while ago about Love Revo (sorry it took so long!), and specifically about Ichinose Ren, whose route is the hardest to finish.  I thought some general strategy might help – now this is from the PS2 version, but AFAIK it still applies:

1. The first month, spend as much time as possible on Research. Get it up to 100, it will make everything you do more effective.
2. Starting the first weekend in May(the second month), start inviting the guy on dates every week. Save and reload as many times as you need for them to agree – it will take several times at the beginning.
3. When it’s time for the guy to ask you to come along on his vacation (July 1), his heart should be green.
4. For Ichinose, you also need to be at least 90-95kg by that time.
5. Buy the CD of soothing music 『 ヒーリングミュージック集 』 ASAP – when you’re getting hungry, you can use it to reduce hunger without snacking. The sauna suit 『 頑丈なサウナスーツ 』 is also very effective – I think you can only buy it on the weekend.

Hope this helps!

More otome game videos

July 27th, 2008

Well, it’s Sunday and I didn’t get much done today except sleep and surf around on the Internet. Found some good otome gameplay videos, where it kind of shows you the features of each game.

This is Mizu no Senritsu 2 ~Hi no Kioku~, which I haven’t heard many people talk about. I really enjoyed it, it has a pretty intense storyline and includes a battle system. Here’s the OP if you just want to see what the visuals look like:

The story is based on the first Mizu no Senritsu, which I didn’t like as much – it was a straight visual novel, and some of the character designs didn’t interest me. Plus, it was one of the first otome games I played and it was pretty dark, so that took me off guard.

Dear My Sun! I wasn’t sure about the concept when it first came out so I didn’t get it, but I think it looks like a lot of fun now (especially now that I know you fall in love with one of adult guys, phew!)

Heehee, another game I haven’t seen much mention of. The premise is totally unrealistic, trying to get a host to fall in love with you, but the game itself is a lot of fun. The gameplay shown here includes getting a job, shopping for stuff and making presents for the guys – the creation minigame is pretty fun.

OK, this isn’t a gameplay vid, but I wanted to put Sorayume in because I’m probably going to start playing it this week. And I still haven’t finished a Hanayoi Romanesque route, gah!!

And finally, one of my fave games, Love Revo! for the DS.
