January News!
News from Girl’s Style:
- A new series from Hakuouki – more info next month of course. It seems like a new heroine (please please please!), and I’d assume new main heroes too.
- Girl’s Style is going to run a series of new ‘stories’ from Hakuouki, extra stories I’d guess. Not sure if it will be a novel or a comic.
- Hanasaku Manimani has a website up! From redjuice and 5pb., the game is about a girl who gets sent to the Edo period and ends up in a specialized amusement parlour(?).
- Have I put up the seiyuu for Norn Noetto (Norn9)? If not, here they are: Team 1: Yuiga Kakeru (CV: Kaji Yuuki), Ichinose Senri (CV: Shimono Hiroo), Tooya Masamune (CV: Satou Takuya), Team 2: Azuma Natsuhiko (CV: Ono Daisuke), Nijou Sakuya (CV: Saiga Mitsuki), Kagami Itsuki (CV: Yusa Kouji), and Team 3: Shukuri Akito (CV: Sugiyama Noriaki), Muroboshi Ron (CV: Sugita Tomokazu), and Otomaru Heishi (CV: Yoshino Hiroyuki).
- Cast announcement for Tsukikage no Kusari, Takuyo’s newest game in a while. Mochizuki Satoya CV: Matsuoka Yoshitsugu, Kagurazaka Hibiki CV: Shingaku Tarusuke (for any PoT fans, he’s the voice of Kite!!!^_^), Inoguchi Wataru CV: Asanuma Shintarou, and Haruna Nozomi CV: Naruse Mikoto. I was going to get this anyways, but now I hope they have a drama CD…probably not since it’s Takuyo ; ;
- Issho ni Gohan will have a route for the android landlord, Satou (CV: Hatano Wataru)!

Late News! November 2012
- Koibana Days is on the cover of the latest B’s Log – a PSP collaboration between Otomate and Kiramune, a label built by Bandai Visual and Lantis producing music by several popular seiyuu. It’s a gardening love sim! Main characters are: Araragi Tsukasa (CV: Okamoto Nobuhiko), HImukai Youta (CV: Eguchi Tatsuya), YUrisawa Eishi (CV: Kakihara Tetsuya), Saotome Tsubaki (CV: Namikawa Daisuke), Takaoka Kikunosuke (CV: Kimura Ryouhei), and Sumidate Ritsuto (CV: Yonaga Tsubasa). More later!
- A new PSP game in the Quinrose world of Ouma ga Toki, Shinigami Kagyou! I haven’t even gotten Hyakki Yakou yet (it’s in the mail). Maybe after I play that I’ll see how I feel about how much they can use this setting without it getting stale. Interesting focus on shinigami though – the heroine is a shinigami and the main hero is someone she kills but he mysteriously still exists
- Finally a new console game from Takuyo! Tsukikage no Kusari will be for PSP, I think it’s in the mid to late Taisho era (the description sounds like it might lead up to WWII) The art is from Hirose Azumi who I think did Kaerubatake
- Ken ga Kimi, a new PC game from Rejet set in the beginning of the Edo era, with a heroine Kayo, who uses the naginata.
- Solomon’s Ring is a new game in four installments for the PSP, the first is out December 20. I feel like I’ve heard about this before, was it a mobile game or something? Or maybe the mags had something on it earlier (not much that I remember though). Oh, because it’s in four parts (the first game has three main heros), the game is only Y3129.
- Shiratsuyu no Aya! New PSP game from Otomate, the art looks all cool and contemporary but it’s not a school life game, it’s supernatural! The aim is to mix the everyday with the extraordinary.
- Finally a release date for Eikoku Tantei Mysteria – March 7. Why settle for just Sherlock Holmes when you can have Holmes Jr and Watson Jr? Not to mention Lupin Jr, and Marple (no Miss?), and Jack the Ripper? Plus, they have promo shots of the main character’s seiyuu in their character’s cosplay (done really well I gotta say). Should be interesting!
- Utapuri All Star is coming out March 7.
- More info on Neoromance’s new game, Katen(?) no Hana. It’s set in the Sengoku period, main characters are Oda Nobunaga, Hashiba Hideyoshi, Tokugawa Ieyasu, Mori Ranmaru, and Momoji Naomitsu. Looks like they’re going for a different artstyle, could be good but I seriously don’t think I’m going to get it unless it’s full-voice. Harutoki 5 was ridiculous in how much was unvoiced.
- Usually I don’t announce mobile games, because we can’t get them, but this one – it’s a SHINee game!! Kpop is taking over the world!! Ahem.
- Wand of Fortune II Fandisk is out November 22. I haven’t even finished one route in WoF II.
- A partially free online game called Star Project with some nice character designs as well. The heroine inherits the position of president of a production company that’s in a lot of debt, and is trying to make it success. The three idols right now are: Tooya (CV: Terajima Takuma), Ren (CV: Ishida Akira), and Torian (CV: Miki Shinichirou). I think it may be up already! (Update: You can sign up, but the game is down for final testing (I think they just finished their beta) until June.)
- Hitofuta Kihyou – the heroine has just transferred to an all-dorm school, and accidentally releases 12 spirits from a scroll, and thus has to re-seal them. It’s for the PC from Profitrolle, and right now is saying early summer.
- Miyako fandisk on June 30: I still haven’t even finished one route, I couldn’t focus on it…
- Kaminaru Kimi to – from Otomate for the PSP. The heroine is a normal girl who suddenly becomes a ‘kami’, and gains the power to perform miracles to grant people wishes. However, she can’t use her power for her own desires. Scheduled for September.
- Gekkan Ryouran Romance in August
- Bunmei Kaika Aoiza Ibunroku – Aug 18
- A web-based game that’s apparently active now: Girls’ Paradise. I’m not sure if you actually get endings, or just ‘enjoy being popular’, as the game says, as long as you want.
- New game from Sanctuary called Miyako set in the Heian era – platform, timing, and rating all TBD! (nice art tho)
- New PC game from experienced amateurs Landkarte which sounds very intriguing – the heroine can have one of five different personalities, and her face is hidden!
- New R18 game from UtM artist! Another loli heroine!
- Fandisk for Wand of Fortune! And I haven’t even finished one route in WoF…
- Fandisk for Garnet Cradle!
- Scoop on Waga Ichizoku – all the six brothers (who as someone commented are all very different) have different mothers!!
- Exorcism of Maria has a release date finally, it’s coming out the middle of February.

- The Garnet Cradle article says it’s coming out in winter 2008 – so if it’s true, only a couple months to go!
- Houkago wa Gin no Shirabe is being adapted for PC with more events
- Hoshiiro no Okurimono from Takuyo is coming out for the PSP, as is Hiiro no Kakera
- Arabian’s Lost for the DS! No release date yet

- A new otome brand produced by Yuuki Azusa from the Fantastic Fortune series is called Strawberry*Maiden. Their first title is Pretty Witch Academy, is R18, and is coming out in 2009.
- A new title for the PS2 is announced from Dimple, called Love Route Zero. It’s based on a popular mobile comic series
July 2011 news – Ozmafia!
A few new games this month!
On the first page of the new B’s Log, there’s an announcement of a new game from Poni Pachet, the theme of which is…the mafia and magicians in the land of Oz! What this game, Ozmafia, will be like, I have NO clue, but the art is very nice. There’ll be more info in the next B’s Log.
Otomate is working with Gust on a new Atelier title! If you’re not familiar with the Atelier series, it’s a series of games where you’re a young alchemist, and have to build up your abilities while making new items through alchemy . The Otomate Atelier title, Atelier Elkrone, will include romance along with the alchemy sim elements.
A new R18 game was announced, Kimi ga Tame, Koishi Midareshi Tsuki no Hana, for the PC. The main character is a female ninja (a kunoichi), and it’s set in the Edo era.
Exorcism of Maria, from Karin, is going to be re-released for the PSP.
A date is set for releasing Angelique -Maren no Rokukishi-. It will come out for the PSP on November 11.

News for November!
Got back from a trip on Sunday, and my magazines were waiting for me ^_^ So, here is the news – lots of fandisks!:
That’s from a quick skim of B’s Log and Girl’s Style, if I notice more news like release dates etc. I’ll stick them up! Scans to come for the new games, as well as a couple that have new characters/final art (like the werefrog game!)
New B’s Log!
Only 2 weeks late! 
Ah well. Anyways, a short note before les nouvelles – I accidentally bought two of the newest B’s Log >.> so I’m selling one. It’s 15$ USD plus shipping. Furoku are a cute little Lucky Dog notepad, and a beautiful Hakuouki Zuisouroku clearfile – it’s small, about 7″ x 10″. 208 pages, 190 of which are full-colour. Includes guides for Wand of Fortune, Under the Moon Crescent, and Kazeiro Surf.
OK, on to the news! New games, yay! Including the one from a keitai game that will only be available by download to Japanese DSi’s, Himitsu no Daioku. Boo.
The other game announcement is Tsundere S Otome, a new R18 game from Mirai for the PC, and tentatively scheduled for 2009. ‘S’? Does this mean there will be one R18 game where the heroine isn’t spineless, lacking a personality and/or kind of a moron?? (OK yes, Ash wasn’t too bad – in some routes, and Yoshitsune was mostly sensible except for the whole onii-chan fixation).
