The biggest difference between the 5-requirement orchestra pieces and the 7-requirements pieces is that you have to investigate something called a rachette (ラチェット). Once you get enough information about it, I believe it appears in the store and you can buy it. You can get information from some of the main characters as well as either 内田守夫 or 安西多恵子. Once you hear this information, talk to Kanezawa-sensei and he’ll tell you more, and then I believe you can buy it after that.

I mentioned in the previous tip that to successfully play Bolero, you need 2 sax players.

For 兼山真治: The armlets are available in the fairies’ stores – it’s spelled レザーアームレット or メタルアームレット.

For 星徹也: all his items are also available in the stores, they’re all presents so the selection changes depending on the day and the store you check.

The number when you first pick an orchestra piece means the number of conditions you have to fulfill to get to the orchestra part. As you might expect, the more the conditions, the harder it usually is.

For instance: サックス奏者2人 means you need to find 2 people who play the sax. That means you have to go around asking people, then find the students, then make sure you have what they want.

One is 兼山真治, and you need to get a leather or metal armlet to give to him for him to join.
The other is 星徹也 and you need to give him either, ティッシュポーチ, ルームコロン, or 水彩画の画集.
